A quilt for Christmas.

So this stack of squares in my hand was actually a UFO. I planned on making a foodie themed quilt for my youngest daughter, but the how I was doing it... yuck was not working out. So I bagged it all up and moved on. Now fast forward, during that time of me not working on my youngest daughter kept asking me when was she getting a big kid quilt. So for Christmas, I figured it was time!

I decided to go with a regular patch style quilt with boarders. Keep in mind I used everything that I had on hand in my stash.
Her quilt took me most of the month due to I could only work on it while she was at school (if the youngest was behaving) or at night time once she went to sleep.
I decided it was also time to use my frame for the times time. I was waiting tell I could afford the cloth leaders, but I couldn't wait any longer lol.
Using my frame for the first time was a learning experience and will still be a learning experience.
I went threw so many needles, but finally figured out that my biggest issue was rolling it up the wrong way. The picture down below is the right way ;) I was rolling it into my machine where the quilt wasn't laying flat. So it would bounce around .
Now I am going to share a video of me running my Singer 9960 on my Grace Frame, but please forgive me. I don't have a stand and I was alone at home. (well the kids where asleep) So I taped my phone to my handles lmao!

And then Christmas morning came...
She was so excited to finally to get her own big kid quilt. And with "all her favorite foods on it" . LOL
