Baking with kids.

Today we finally got some cooler air and a bit of rain. Perfect to help get rid of that smoke in our air right now. But also perfect for baking!

Our girls have been waiting for awhile now for baking season. Normally by now I have banana bread and zucchini bread made and stocked in the freezers. But this year it has been too hot and too busy.

I had them fighting on who was going to help first and with what. 😮😝

Our house smelled so yummy today. First the girls made bread pudding with dad. Then jumped over to my side of the kitchen, to start on the beer bread.

After making a load for us to snack on today lol, a loaf for the neighbors. We had these too left. ( Don't worry we have plenty more coming soon lol).

Now that our bananas we're almost thawed, it was time for banana bread.

We normally bake banana/ zucchini/ pumpkin breads in mini loaf pan. But this time I couldn't find some of them. And Walmart was out of the paper liners.

And after the last loaf went into the oven, it was time to clean up. But what do I see as I am washing dishes.... My oldest taste testing. Lmao
